Welcome to Athens! Fivos hostel is a friendly haven for travellers in the heart of the old city. We offer cheap, clean rooms with, air-conditioning, central heating, free breakfast and wifi, and a roof terrace with views of the Acropolis. The hostel is located only 50m from Monastiraki metro station, with direct and fast metro connection to the airport and ferry port. Our reception desk is open 24-hours. We also provide laundry, internet café and travel agency services.
We are a short walk from all the major archaeological sites such as Hadrian’s Library, the Tower of the Winds, Thission, and the ancient Kerameikos Cemetary. The Acropolis itself lies a mere 20 minutes away by foot. You can lose yourself in the cobbled streets of Plaka for some good food and traditional Greek dancing, hunt for souvenirs in Monastiraki, see Athens’ main shopping parade, Ermou St, and go for drinks in Psirri, the nightlife spot in Athens.
We can also help you with any further travel arrangements (e.g. tours, trips to the islands and international travel) through our travel agency. We look forward to welcoming you to Greece and to the city of Athens.

Dit is een Vertrouwde Recensie. Waarom?
The location is really good; very close to the Metro station. But the hotel is really hopeless. The Air-conditioner does not work, the toilet door does not close, Hot water in the bath is irregular. In fact, there isnt even a towel rack or a hook inside the toilet. Probably, we should have hung the towels around our shoulders while showering!! Also, no exhaust in the toilet. Add to that, even the Milk got over before all guests finished their breakfast.
Also, the staff was very uncooperative and uncaring. They did not even agree to hold our luggage for a couple of hours between our check-out time and our flight, without paying for it. In fact, they said that we were no longer their guests since we had checked out (and after we stayed there for 3 nights).
Would not recommend this place to anybody for the sheer attitude of the staff....

The only positive thing in this hotel was the location, the air-conditioning and the fridge. It hasn´t got lift, the breakfast is not enough (the breakfast has the ingredients for a salad, but you hasn't nothing to dress it) and the rooms are very old (sheets and beds included) and they only clean after your stay.

We found it was very cheap for the quality of the room: the room was nice, the only problem for us was that there wasn't any window, just a little one in the bathroom
but we were very well settle in general, and the staff was very very nice, and gives us some good information about what to visit in athens !
we will keep a good souvenir of Hotel Fivos !
