A traditional Portuguese stone house that has been renovated and converted into Hostel Varzea Pequena, Pete's Place will be the first backpacker hostel to be opened in this area of Central Portugal.

Two dormitories, each sleeping four people comfortably and one double room with two single beds. Two double bathrooms with bath and shower. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge area with feature fireplace and glass doors opening onto a spacious balcony with spectacular views across the valley and mountains. Garden patio area with seating and barbecue facilities.

The Metro runs straight from the Porto airport to the main line station of Carpanha.We are an hour by train from Porto. Alternatively we are an hour & a half from Lisbon by train. 45 mins by car from Coimbra.The train runs from Coimbra to Serpins which is then a 15 min drive away. Possibilities of being collected from either situation.
