Malaga Lodge, guest house Malaga, offers excellent accommodation in a unique setting in the very heart of Malaga's old town (Costa del Sol), only a short walk from the city centre very close to the main attractions such as Picasso Museum, beaches, etc
Check in from 11:00 hrs to 23:00 hrs previous confirmation of arrival time into M�laga airport, bus or train station.
The owner does not personally live in the Guest House, the house keeper works from 08:00 to 13:00 hrs and as a self catering guest house, there is no reception desk service
Check out 11:00 hrs.
Cancellation policy: 72 hrs.
(Except Easter from April 01st to April 8th and August Fair from Aug 10th to Aug 19th, minimum stay of 2 days and cancellation policy of 7 days in prior arrival)

Could not have asked for more and my expectations were totally exceeded. I stayed in a twin room with a friend for a three-night stay, and we used the lodge as a base for discovering historic Malaga.
The Spanish owner was very friendly and welcoming, and took an hour to talk my friend & I through a map of the city, pointing out key places of interest and the best local cafes and restaurants. We made sure to visit (most of) them and were certainly not disappointed. In fact, on the first night the owner even dropped us off in her car in the city centre to save us a walk as it was late!
Although we tended to eat out, the kitchen had all the amenities we required and tea, coffee, cereal and fruit were provided gratis. The entire Lodge (communal areas, bedrooms, shower rooms, WCs etc) are extremely clean and look newly furnished.
We met people from Germany, Poland, England & Slovakia and due to the small size of the Lodge we got to chat to several nice people from across Europe. You don't get to do that in your average hotel.
I was worried about the sound of sirens as it is very close to a hospital, however the surrounding area to the Lodge is very quiet and feels very safe. There is a supermarket a five minute walk away and the beach is only a twenty minute walk via the tunnel.
I couldn't figure out how to work the TV, but I didn't care as I wasn't there for TV.
I have no hesitation to recommend this place and should I return to Malaga then I will be contacting the owner and booking myself back in here!

nice, cosy place. Very friendly, very clean. No problems whatsoever. Close enough to walk to the city center.
Parking is difficult, but (with a small car!) not impossible. (we had a rental Fiat Punto).
3 rooms share a bathroom & toilet. However it was spotless clean.Certainly a good option for couples.

This lodge is absolutely charming. The location is perfect, on a tiny little street, no traffic, and behind a church....yet, a perfectly wonderful short walk to town. My room was large with a balcony.The house is spotless. The kitchen is so well fitted, a lovely place to start the day. The owner is completely accomodating. I highly reccomend.
