Nagoya Guesthouse Otohaya is ideally located in the center of Nagoya city, only 10 min walk from Osu Kan-non Station, and 20 min walk from Nagoya Station. Such reasonable guest houses where backpackers can stay are rarely found in Nagoya. Nagoya Guesthouse Otohaya is probably the first one opened in the region, according to the owner.

There are 10 guest rooms in total. One can choose to stay in a dormitory or a private room. The rooms are decorated base on the image of a Okinawa guest house, a very comfortable space for travelers. There are also Japanese style rooms with Okinawa Ryukyu tatami mats.

The concept of the guest house is that it is a homely place for travelers, a place where travelers can communicate, and enjoy each other\'s company. For that purpose, there are no TV in the guest rooms. Guests can relax and enjoy conversations at the common spaces.

Only one month after opening, Otohaya Bessou has already attracted guests from all over Japan, and abroad. Since it is safe, it is popular with female guests.

By Subway:

From Nagoya Station, take Nagoya City Subway-Higashiyama Line to Fushimi(Aichi) Station, 3 min.

At Fushimi(Aichi) Station, switch to Nagoya City Subway-Tsurumai Line to Osu Kan-non Station, 2 min (200 yen).

We are 10 min walk from Osu Kan-non Station. Get out the 4th exit of the station, turn right (north direction) , walk pass the Family Mart, to Hanazono St (Hanazono Dori). Turn left and walk west on Hanazono Dori until you reach a river. You can see us on the other side of the river. So turn right, walk along the river until you find a bridge, cross the bridge, turn left and walk back along the river to our guesthouse.

7 min and around 1000yen from Nagoya Station.
