nice staff..accomodating and courteous...the place is just ok for first time tourists like us in ho chi minh...the price is reasonable..but the breakfast is always the same

We reserved for a deluxe room but it seemed like we were given a standard room. The room given to us had a really dirty bathroom, shower was broken and the bathroom tiles was really dirty and full of grime. The air conditioning wasn't working properly as well. I had to ask to be transferred to another room and to my surprise the room we were transferred to was much better than the first room we were given. The bathroom of the room of our companions was overflowing with water as well. they had to call maintenance to try to fix it but nothing really happened.
No one answers the phone on the reception. they have three numbers which are 111, 112 and 113 but no one answers all three numbers.
Breakfast buffet was served at a different hotel wherein you have to walk outside but just around 30 meters. The buffet was suppose to be at 600 - 900 but at 800 they would not refill the dishes anymore so you are just left to eat the left overs. Breakfast buffet does not change daily so expect to eat the same type of food the next day. Food not great as well.
Do not have money changed at the hotel, there is a money changer right beside the hotel that offers a higher rate.
Do not book with the service taxi of the hotel going to the airport since they charge 17USD. The rate of other taxis would just be 8 to 10 USD.
Wifi of the hotel does not work properly.
But location of the hotel is very convenient. it is in the middle of everything. but there are a lot of other hotels in the same area with a cheaper rate and looked better.
overall i would not stay in this hotel and i would not recommend it to my family and friends. its up to you now to decide if you want to try it out.
