El Pueblito, El Bolson, Argentinië

El Pueblito Hostel has been the choice of many travelers for the last twenty years. Located in the Patagonian Andes, next to the Quemquemtreu river, inside a beautiful landscape of mountains and forests, it's wooden house offers the warmth of a log fire and a team of friends.

Within a 1.5 acres land, forested with a variety of trees, in front of the native forest bordering the river, a classical log building arises. The lower floor is a large and cozy common room, with two kitchen areas integrated to it, one for the travelers, and one for the staff. The upper stories hold the toilets and dorms.

Next to this main building, there are three cabins and a multipurpose hall and, surrounding them all, a park with a variety of trees, such as eucalyptus, the native palo piche, apple-trees and plum-trees among others. There’s also an open fire to gather around in the nights.

There are three dorms in the main building: one with 12 single beds, and a double-bed attic; one with 12 single beds, and one with 6 single beds.

Two of the cabins are for two people, one with private toilet. The other cabin has toilet, an integrated kitchen, and a double bed attic.

From Plaza Pagano, the centre of El Bolsón, take the bus Servicio Urbano, and tell the driver that you get off at the corner of El Pueblito (you'll see one of our signboards). Take the traversing street to the river (left), about 100 ft away, and in front of the river, at your right; the beautiful building you saw in the picture will appear. You can also take a cab.

Coming from Bariloche, once you've surpassed the bridge over Quemquemtreu River (about two miles before the centre of El Bolsón), turn left. From there on, follow our signboards.

The nearest airport is Bariloche's, about 8 miles to the north. You have regular buses from Bariloche bus station.
