Camiri Floating Hostel and Bar Lounge, Iquitos, Peru

Camiri is a unique floating hostel and bar in Peruvian amazon. You feel really at Amazon, being only 250 meters away from Iquitos mainsquare.

In Camiri you can live like riverside amazon people, from the flowing season to dry season. More than 10 meters can be the difference between august-september (when it dries) to the hisghest river level by may-june.

It is rustic style built houses and at the same time with all modern facilities, like internet, electricity and city`water. We have dormitory to private double bed rooms. Non commercial wood boards where used in our building, instead of destroying trees industrially like all other 'ecological' places build lodges at Iquitos.

Fun, customized food, new friendships (locals and travelers), the coldest beer in town and aphrodisiac and international drinks are shared in our chill out-party time at night. Peaceful environment and the best views of the rivers and coasts can be enjoyed during day time.

Private areas have their own terraces with hammocks and recycled wooden furniture. We recomend to take the private rooms at the second house if you want to sleep early, or the dorms if you don`t have any problem to wake up late. Anyway, breakfast is included also at noon!
