Over Hathway House

Hathway House was built in 1846 and is occupied by me and my family we have 2 purposely built en-suite rooms perfect for a stop over before or after an early or late flight.

A continental breakfast is provided for those who need something before an early start and we are close to the local public house across the road which serves food until late in the evening.

Definitely not to be recommended. The built en-suite rooms were so tiny that one could hardly move. There was not space whatsoever to store any luggage. The floors were not hovered, the carpets dirty. The court-yard leading to the facilities looked like a tip. Breakfast was available. It was brought to us (toast, butter, jam. Fresh Coffee or tea was not included, we were asked to use the coffee making facilities in the room.) on a tray to be eaten in our room, which meant we had breakfast on the bed, as there was no other space. The house is situated on a main road, the air port is in walking distance. The en-suite rooms were a bit sheltered, as they lay in the court yard at the back of the house, so the traffic noise from the street at night was bearable. Obviously the traffic noise caused by planes was very bad.
Even if people only need one short overnight stay and don`t want to travel far to or from the air port my recommendation would be to look for something else. To find worse will be hard.
