Located in a typical Guatemala City’s neighbourhood, Hostal Aroche is glad to offer beds and a kitchen to low budget travellers. With a touch of indigenous fabrics, it is a good option to rest the night you arrive to Guatemala City, when starting your journey, or when you are leaving.

We remodelled the property to offer you a communal kitchen where you can prepare your own meals and get free purified drinking water. On the ground floor, you can catch up with friends and family through the internet on computers that are free of charge. Wi-Fi is also available throughout the property. You can relax and read information available about traveling through Guatemala in our comfortable sofa.

Hostal Aroche has three dormitories with 2 bunk beds each one, with a total capacity of 12 persons.

We have a special room with four larger beds for tall people or more comfortable sleeping.

Bed sheets and towels are included in the price.

Bathroom has hot shower 24hr.

We only accept cash in U.S. dollars, euros and Quetzales. Your change is in Quetzales.

By car (or taxi) from Aurora International airport, take boulevard Juan Pablo II, turn right at Mercado de Artesanías (Art crafts' market), and take underpass crossing to 5ta. calle. A t the corner turn right to the first traffic light and then left to continue on the 5ta calle. Straight ahead 12 corners and 2 sets of traffic lights. Turn right at 13 Avenida. In the opposite corner, to the left, you can see the property with the number 7-12 (Hostal) and 7-24 (Mrs Aroche's residence). Taxi cost around 3-4 dollars. You should ask the driver to put on the taximeter on, at day o night rate (whatever counts), or agree an exact amount with taxi driver before you aboard the taxi.

By bus: come out of the Aurora terminal, cross parking lots looking for the bus stop. Take number 83 BOLIVAR, and ask the driver to let you know when the bus arrives at the ¨Octava Calle y Trece Avenida zona Doce¨. It takes no more than 15 minutes to get to the Hostel. Be aware for the address because sometimes bus drivers forgets to call you. Do not pay more than one Quetzal, 13 pennies (dollar). Step out and walk to the opposite corner in the same block bus lets you off. The property is located to the left, almost finishing the block.
