Small, intimate, charming, clean house hosted by Turap; a young intelligent Turkish man. Turap receives guests at his house who come from all over the world to experience Istanbul and to experience the welcome and hospitality of Turkish culture.

Their is a door bell and a small 2 inch name plate that says: TURAP.

We are located on a quiet street; 10 minutes walk from the Boats/Ferries and the Bosphorus Sea and within the Antiques Used Furniture Market in the neighborhood of Uskudar in the thriving city of Istanbul.This is a conservative, safe, friendly, working class neighborhood. House of Turap is clean, comfortable but not luxurious. It is the environment of a typical working class Turkish family.

10 minute walk to the boats and ferries. The boats/ferries can take you to all of Istanbul including the European side (10 minutes) and the Old City side (20 minutes).

When making your reservation please remember: the price is the same for 1 or 2 guests. If you are a solo traveller you must put 2 when the system asks for the number of guests

Check In: after 3pm( 15:00 hours) and only up until 9pm.(21:00 hours) If you are going to arrive later than that please let us know so we can be their to welcome you.

If you need to arrive before 3pm you may leave your bags and come back when your room is ready.

We want you to have fun in Istanbul. But please know that this is not a party house.

We are located in a beautiful, quiet, conservative area of Istanbul known as Uskudar. Flowers, small parks, fountains and of course the beautiful Bosphorus Sea. Within 5 minutes walk are many restaurants, coffee and tea houses, public markets, supermarkets and shops. Our guests have the use of a fully equipped kitchen.

Maximum of 2 guests per room. All guests must be at least 18 years of age. Sorry, no children allowed.
