Fun Sam's B&B is a newly-built building with 3 twin rooms and a kingsize room, all with ensuites.
The idea of this guesthouse is to create a place where people can get a cheap clean room and a breakfast in the morning, meet new friends, exchange cultures and thoughts, study a new language and relax in Yangshuo without paying too much.
Fun Sam's B&B surrounded by breath-taking limestone peaks, close to delicious local chinese resturaunts. A short walk will take you to the city centre where a lot of the bars and shopping stalls are. and it's just on the edge of town near civilization but also right on the path to bike trails up the Yulong River where you can find Dragon Bridge and many exploring poossibilities.
Sam is a drama free funny laid back countryboy who wants to show Yangshuo to the rest of the world.
Sam's mom cooks very good local food and she is ready to share the cooking skills with guests.

If you are looking for a different experience, and wanting to get to know the Real China, away from the crowds and noise from West Street, this is the place you want to go. Close enough to the action (10 min walk) but quiet enough to let you enjoy the countryside and the amazing scenary. The view from the kitchen window deserves a special mention.
From the first minute of our arrival, we were made to feel part of the family. All (Sam, mum, dad, gran, cousin...) chipped in to make our late night arrival as easy on us as possible.
Sam´s mum should open a restaurant. She made us the best food we have had in China so far. The eggs, steamed vegetables, dumplings, noodles, her beer fish special... the list is endless!
Our last night with Sam, his dad and some rice wine was priceless. Long to be remembered!
We could not have been made more at home, definately our best stay in China so far.
Sam my friend, we will definately be back! Maybe see you in Barcelona some day! :-)
