Had a bad start but once we sorted the problem out every think else was great. Fantastic location close to big wild goose pagoda and the serrounding park is a must plenty of variety for places to eat close by and around 15 rmb by taxi to the bell and drum towers. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only thing that spoilt Xian was the weather cold and wet but I could hardly blame the hostel for that. Overall a great place to stay. Only negative was there where hardly any English speaking guests staying there. And also lacked a bit of at atmosphere. But would stay again.

The location of this hostel is way out of the old town center, but the nice park nearby (with the big goose pagoda) makes it up for this. It also got good bus connections to the train station. The huge food plaza nearby with dozens of good restaurants and bars is also a big plus! The staff is really friendly and are happy to help you.
DONT stay in the special offer double-bed room because its terrible; small without window and it smells. We immediatly traded room for 20RMB more and got a spacious nice and clean room.
