Lizard Rock is situated in the valleys of Rhenosterkop, in the tranquility of nature and fresh water mountain springs. We are situated approximately 9 km from Nelspruit central.

Our accommodation is all self-catering. We offer two units with double beds and en-suite bathrooms, which are situated near the swimming pool. All linen is supplied. Our Dormitory accommodates four guests with single beds and an en-suite bathroom. The toilets are separate. We have a local entertainment area with DStv, a pool table, a bar and a restaurant. Braai facilities and breakfasts are available on request. Activities include bird watching, horse riding and fresh water fishing on a catch and release basis.

Nelspruit has a sub-tropical climate and lush hills. It is the ideal place from which to explore Mpumalanga. The Lowveld Botanical Gardens are located just outside of the town and it boasts a rare collection of plant species. The Sudwala Caves, the Dinosaur Park and cultural core allows for a primitive African feel.
