The Islander Resort Hotel offers the choice between 2 room types:

-Standard Hotel Rooms sleep maximum of 3 people (1 King or 1 Queen & Single) and are comfortably appointed with air-conditioning, private balcony, ensuite bathroom, telephone, television, small bar fridge, tea & coffee making facilities. Perfect for a shorter stay.

-One Bedroom Apartments sleep maximum 4 people with a large seperate lounge room and a main bedroom comprising of either one King or 2x Double beds. Apartments also inlcude air-conditioning (bedroom only), private balcony, ensuite bathroom, telephone, television and full kitchen facilities. These rooms are perfect for longer stays or for a family.

Arriving by Coach: We are situated right next door to the Surfers Paradise Transit Centre (main bus station) on Beach Road, Surfers Paradise.

Arriving by Car: From the North, head south along the Pacific Motorway and take the Smith Street Exit (Exit 66). Continue along Smith Street and turn left onto North Street. Turn right onto the Gold Coast Highway. Turn left onto Beach Road and arrive at the Islander.

From the South: Head North along the Pacific Motorway and take the Gooding Drive Exit (Exit 77). Continue along Gooding Drive following signs to Broadbeach. Once you get to Pacific Pair Shopping Centre turn left onto the Gold Coast Highway. Turn right onto Beach Road and arrive at the Islander.

Arriving by Plane: The Islander is approximately 25 minutes drive north from the Gold Coast Airport, 1 hour drive south of Brisbane International and Domestic Airports, and 15 minutes from Nerang Train Station.

The train is the best way to get to Surfers Paradise from Brisbane airport. The train is available between the hours of 6am and 8pm – please visit www.airtrain.com.au. Hop off at Nerang where a Surfside bus number 745 will meet the train and transfer you to Surfers Paradise opposite Islander Resort Hotel.

From Coolangatta Airport you can catch a taxi or the Gold Coast Shuttle, which meets all flights. Airport transfers are also available through Surfside Buslines.
