Milkwood Grove Travelers Lodge, Wilderness, Zuid-Afrika

My boyfriend and I booked through Traveller's Point to stay at Pharaoh's Traveller's Lodge in Wilderness as he had been there before and enjoyed his stay. Upon reaching Wilderness we travelled to the address provided to us only to find that Pharaoh's Traveller's Lodge was no longer in existence- in fact, the Lodge had been demolished and there was an entirely new house built on the premises.
We thereafter telephoned the number provided and it was explained to us that instead of Pharoah's Lodge we were now staying at Milkwood Grove Traveller's Lodge. We were given directions over the phone however the GPS did not pick up the road and after a hugely frustrating hour of driving around getting lost and numerous phone calls at our expense we finally reached Milkwood Grove. ( Pharaoh's Lodge was situated right on the beach whereas one needs to drive from Milkwood to the beach)
We were expecting a double room with an en suite bathroom however, they did not have an en suite available and we were forced to share a bathroom. I do understand that Milkwood is a Traveller's Lodge and thus one cannot expect Hiton Hotel Standards, but our room and the bathroom were both dirty. The bathroom didn't seem to have anyone cleaning it regularly. We even had to spray our room before we went to sleep as I had seen 2 fleas jump ontome.
Saying all this, the braai facilities were reasonable and the back garden and patio area very pretty. Perhaps if they had someone cleaning more regularly it would be a huge help.
