Tunxi Lodge is located in the famous Tunxi Old Street in Tunxi, a beautiful ancient town lying at the foot of the Mt. Huangshan in Anhui Province. The Tunxi Old Street has a history of more than 700 years which can be traced back to the Song Dynasty (960-1279). It was once a commercial street where merchants from Anhui, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, and Fujian provinces jostled and conducted businesses. The street is known as the living Riverside Scene at the Qingming Festival, a famous Chinese painting.

Tunxi Lodge, a dual-building complex of which no.15 (the main building) has 3 storeys while no.17 (the annex building) has 4 storeys, preserves the indigenous Huizhou architectural style. Its white walls, black-tiled roofs with horse-head eaves and traditional carvings blend in the simple yet clean décor, allowing you to have a real touch of the local history and lifestyle.

Tunxi Lodge preserves its original architectural style of Song, Ming and Qing dynasties. It provides convenient access to the major scenic spots such as Mt.
