Welcome to Modern Guesthouse Kota Bharu, We are a modern and fully decorated guest house equipped with all the basic necessities. Our guesthouse is cheap, clean, classy and comfortable to ensure our guest keeps returning.

Modern Guesthouse is a warm and friendly double storey terrace house that welcomes travellers from all over the globe. We will make sure that our guest will receive the best treatment possible for your values and needs.

Our guesthouse comes with a dining hall, entertainment hall and a car posh. For those who would like to just chill out in the house could browse through our DVD library and have a sip of beer where we provide upon request (chargeable).WIFI access is available throughout the whole house free of charged for those who brought in their own laptop or you can loan one from us.

For those who miss their home cooked food, you will find our kitchen useful. Guest can cook up a hearty meal or maybe just some snacks.

Tour trips can also be booked at our reception if you are interested, don’t be shy to ask.

Modern Guesthouse comes with three private room types:

Single rooms come with a double bed.

Double rooms come with double bed/two single beds.

Triple room comes with two double beds.

Bed sheet and linens are provided, attached with their bathrooms with 24hrs hot showers. All rooms are equipped with their own air conditioning unit and a ceiling fan. We also have extra bed available upon request for RM12.00 per single mattress.

We would suggest our guest to call us once they reach Kota Bharu for pick up or you can always show the address to the local cab driver and they will know where about. Pick up and drop off from/to Kelantan airport, Wakaf Bharu train station or main bus station is available upon request for RM40.00 per car (max 4 person per car). For more than 4 people and below 7 people is RM70.00 per car.
