Starlight Hotel is located in the heart of the city and directly opposite our national pride Mnazi Moja Park; this is adjacent to Bibititi Mohamed and Uhuru Streets. On one side is seen the Uhuru Torch Monument erected to symbolise the Freedom Torch placed at the peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro upon Tanzania's attainment of independence. On the other side of the park is the Republic Fountain, which commemorated the foundation of the republic in 1962.

To get from Dar es Salaam Nyerere Airport to you’re the hotel, you can rent a car, take a taxi, a bus or a train:

1.Tanzania Rent-a-Car and Avis are located in the terminal, while most other rental car agencies do business in the City.

2. The estimated taxi fare into the City is $33. Taxis charge by location, traffic conditions and time of day, as well as distance. It is advisable to confirm the fare with the driver before stepping into the taxi.
