We started off in the cheapest room, which was pretty nasty - damp, no sink, basically no daylight, not recomended. We then upgraded to a more expensive (but still pretty cheap) room, which was clean, and had both a sink and hot water. Breakfast was not amazing. It's not a bad place to stay if you're on a tight budget, but there may well be better out there in the price range.

The room was very spartan and felt more like a cell. The construction work next door is ongoing, which meant being woken at 7am by crashing hammers and general noise. The vibe isn't great, and the staff weren't that helpful or friendly. The price is reasonably cheap, but there are lots of other alternatives. If you're on a budget you'll be able to find somewhere better for cheaper - 100-150,000Rp per night if you ask around. The location was convenient, but I wont be tempted to stay again.

my flight touched down midnight, and I ticked in the internet 1.00am check in
the reception do not allow check in until 7.00am, and I need to wait till 7.00am; heavy rain, and tired made me sick the next day...otherwise, okay

The location is great, only 5 minutes to the beach, shops and clubs. The staff is super friendly and relaxed. The pool is kept clean as are the rooms. The only issue I had was the fact that my shower didn't always have running water, or decent water pressue, it would cut out half-way through and I'd be left covered in soap. The staff is also willing to haggle on prices. I stayed there two nights, went into Ubud for a few days and then went back to see if they had vacancy and they remembered me and offered me the same rate as before after I told them I was on my own and couldn't afford their increase. Other than a few soapy moments, I'd definitely go back. I highly recommend this hotel.

lovely place, great people and very picturesque - and, once you get use to the mice running in and out of the room, all in all a good trip

I was booked in for 7 nights but only stayed for 3. The bed was really uncomforable and the "bathroom" was actually a tiny wet room with a toilet that had a very cheap thin seat and moved when you sat on it, a very old shower right next to the toilet and NO SINK!! The room size was good but that was the only good thing about it. Pool parties were secretly allowed by night time security which kept you awake till early hours. OK if you are a young traveller but no good for the mature person.
