33 South Boutique Backpackers was developed especially for those individuals who have a taste for a real adventure but are not willing to give up their piping hot showers and fresh percale linen.

Because Cape Town is such a great place, we decided to develop a Boutique Backpackers Lodge that is really special. Boutique? Boutique for us is everything stylish, unique and luxurious ? and all this you?ll find in the homely atmosphere at 33 South Boutique Backpackers.

Resting under Table Mountain?s watch, 33 South is nestled in the legendary OBZ, the funky and vibey neighbourhood with some of Cape Town?s most adored live band venues, comedy clubs, restaurants, pubs and bars. Since we dedicated our name (33 South) to the geographic location of Cape Town (33 South, 18 East), it?s fitting that each of our rooms is themed after a different culturally rich ?Capetonian? neighbourhood. So, you don?t have to travel far to experience the magic of our city!

Whether you choose to spend the night in an extra-sized bed in District 6, the colourful Bo-kaap, Khayalitsha Shack chic or the cool and breezy Kalk bay room (amongst others) Cindy, Kim and the rest of the friendly staff will make sure you feel at home in this spacious Victorian house.

At the reception you?ll not only find a selection of tours, activities and great music, but also insider-info on the best restaurants, surf spots, music festivals and loads of ?off-the-beaten-track? adventures.

Comfort, safety and security are top priority. To ensure this, each guest has their very own large locking cupboard with digital code safe, extra-sized bed with the softest fresh linen and the night-watchman Elvis will keep you safe and entertained.

From Cape Town International Airport: Take the N2 highway direction Cape Town city centre. Take the Liesbeck Parkway off-ramp, after approximately 9 km, turn right under the bridge at the traffic lights. At the following set of traffic lights, turn left into Station Rd, over the bridge. After the bridge, take the first road on the right, into Herschel Rd, then first right again into Trill Rd. We are number 48, on the left hand side, look out for the Bright Orange Wall.
