Campus Summer Stays North Ryde is all happening. Originally developed by Macquarie University in 2000 to fill the need for student accommodation (and house Olympians for the 2000 Olympics).
The Village is a vibrant and ideal venue for groups; it is the place to meet up, a place to study, the place for groups to stay together whilst utilizing the excellent local attractions and lush expansive seven hectares of grounds that surround the accommodation. It provides high quality rooms, competitive rates, and the convenience of the new Macquarie University Sport and Recreation Centre just across the road. The ideal venue for sport minded groups Macquarie University Village is the gateway to some of Sydney’s finest sporting and leisure facilities.
Five bedroom apartments are based in two storey townhouses with living, dining and kitchen facilities shared by the five residents.
• Each apartment has its own porch area, accessible via the front or back door.
• Two fully upholstered two-seater lounges, an armchair, coffee table, dining table and six dining chairs are all provided within the apartment.
• Basic crockery is provided
• Individual bedrooms are lockable and contain a single bed, desk, built-in wardrobe, and their own ensuite including a toilet, basin and shower
Macquarie University Village is approximately 20 minutes' drive from the city (14km) or 30 minutes (30km) from the airport (not during peak hour traffic).
From the airport, travel down Southern Cross Drive, which will connect to the Eastern Distributor and continue through the tolls. This road will continue through the Sydney Harbor Tunnel and out onto the Gore Hill Freeway.
Follow all signs to Epping for about 10km. Continue along the Gore Hill Freeway, which will turn into Epping Road. Continue on this road till you see signs on your left to Lane Cove Road. Keep in the left lane, and you will come to Lane Cove Road. Turn right on Lane Cove Road and under the Epping Road Bridge. Turn left into Talavera Road at the second set of lights. Follow Talavera Road till you go through two roundabouts, pass the MGSM North Ryde and on the second roundabout turn left into Culloden Road.
Follow Culloden Road and turn right on the first roundabout into Waterloo Road and Macquarie University Village administration building is the first on the left. If you are using a GPS - please input Marsfied
