We have been welcoming guests at our home since 2000. At our home you can expect personal attention and genuine concern for your needs.

Shantalla Lodge B&B is a modern, newly refurbished home, located just 3km from Dublin Airport and 5km from Dublin City. We are ideally located as buses to airport and city centre pass by our door.

Travellers can access major roads North, South, and West via M50, which is only a 5-minute drive away. We are located just off the M1 Motorway.

Shantalla Lodge B&B is near to Beaumont Hospital, Dublin City University, Santry Stadium, Dublin Port and Croke Park. Concerts and shows are close by at the Point Depot. We are also close to The Helix.

Our Central location makes us a perfect base to explore all the wonderful sights of Dublin and is convenient for people at the end of their holiday who want accommodation close to Dublin Airport.

From Dublin Airport, follow the sign for Santry (take R132). Continue straight passed Omni Park Shopping Centre, you will see a bridge marked Beaumont, continue over the bridge. You will find us on the left hand side just before traffic lights, across from a Centra shop.

From M50

Travelling North on M50, exit at junction marked "Long Term Car Park" and "Ballymun". Take the third exit on the roundabout marked "Dublin City University". Travel to set of traffic lights after garage, and turn left into Santry Avenue. At the second set of traffic lights at Heiton Buckley's turn right, travel pass Omni Shopping Centre. You will see a bridge marked Beaumont, continue over the bridge. You will find us on the left hand side just before traffic lights, across from a Centra shop

From Dublin Port

From Dublin Port Take R131 out of the Port along the East Wall Road. Continue straight along Popular Row and Clonliffe Road. At the junction with lower Drumcondra Road, take a right; continue along Swords Road to the junction with M1. Take the slip road to the route marked Santry/Omni Park Shopping Centre. At the traffic lights take a right, go over the bridge. We are on the left just before traffic lights.

From the City Centre By Bus

Travelling to Shantalla Lodge by bus from city centre take 16/16A from O'Connell Street. Ask the bus driver to let you off at the bus stop on Shantalla Road. The bus will stop directly across the road. You can also take 33, 33B, 41, 41A, 41B and 41C departing from Eden Quay. Ask the bus driver to let you off on the Swords Road at the stop before The Comet Pub. We are a 3-minute walk over the bridge.

Buses from the city centre to Shantalla Lodge cost €1.50

Travelling By Bus from the Airport

Take number 16A bus outside arrivals hall. Ask driver to let you off at bus stop just over the bridge. Walk back towards the bridge. We are located opposite Centra shop.

You can also take buses 33, 33B, 41, 41A, 41B, 41C heading to city centre. Ask bus driver to let you off at bus stop just over the bridge. Walk back towards the bridge and take a right. Continue walking straight ahead. We are located on the left hand side of the street opposite Centra shop.

Buses from Dublin Airport to Shantalla Lodge cost €1.50
