Effendi Apartment (Efendi Apartmani in Turkish) is run by Fatih Travel Company which is one of the major travel companies found in Sultanahmet/Istanbul.

Effendi Apartment is a small lodging with 3 studio flats equipped with a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. It is ideal to stay for couples, single travellers or families with a small baby. The location is great with only a few minutes of walk to Sultanahmet Square and Cankurtaran Train Station. Neighborhood is a residential area with small houses around and safe at day&night. Nearby our apartment, you can find many restaurants, markets and other shops open until late at night.

The main holder of Effendi Apartment, Fatih Travel Company, is highly experienced in hotel business. We run 3 boutique hotels in Sultanahmet ; these are Hotel Sultan’s Inn, Deniz Houses Hotel and Naz Wooden House Inn. We aim to give a good service at our flats to our customers with the help of our experience in hotel business. We also run a travel agency in Istanbul, Backpackers Travel, through which we provide hotel reservations, flight-train-ferry tickets, guided tours in Istanbul,Cappadocia, Ephesus and the other popular destinations of our country. We are welcome to help our guests for their further travel arrangements in Turkey. We have 3 floors with a studio flat located at each one. All have a private entrance after the main door and the keys for both doors provided upon your arrival. Each flat consisted of a bedding room (appx. 25 m2) a short coridor accesing to a bathroom (appx. 8 m2) and an open kitchen equipped with an oven, kettle and useful kitchennette. Our flats are heated by individual combi boiler and each bedding room has a split air-condition. There are either 2 single beds in our flats (90-190 cm) or a double bed (140*190 cm). Each room has an armchair and a chair as well. There are also a wardrop (90*190 cm) and a sattellite LCD television (82 cm ) in the rooms. All flats has wireless internet connection.The bathrooms have cabin-showers with 24 hours hot water. There is also a bathroom cabinet with a hair-dryer installed. For each arrival, a week use shower and hand towels provided in the bathroom. Hand soaps, a small shampoo, toilet papers and slippers provided as complimentary.

On the upside direction, you can use the tram to get to Esenler bus station or Istanbul Ataturk Airport by a metro connection at Aksaray. On the down side direction, you can use it to get to the ferry ports departing to Bosphorus, Üsküdar, Kadiköy or Golden Horn and there is a finicular from Kabatas (the last stop of tram) to Taksim Square and Istiklal Street. No need to use the tram for Grand Bazaar or Spice Market (Egyptian Bazaar) as both are easy to walk from Effendi Apartment. In short, Effendi Apartment has an excellent location as being in the hearth of the old city of Istanbul close by the museums, restaurant and markets and at a junction of various public transport stops to get to airport, bus station, ferry or cruise ports. By this way, it is also an ideal an flat for long terms of stay in Istanbul.

Cankurtaran Meydani (Cankurtaran Square) has a lovely atmosphare with shops and coffee houses. The popular fish restaurant of Istanbul, Balikci Sabahattin is found in this area as well. The train station is found in the hearth of this Square and a passageway giving access to the sea-side. Right a few streets above Cankurtaran Mahallesi, you reach to Akbiyik caddesi where there are some of the most popular bars, restaurants and hotels.
