Lost Garden Guesthouse is a boutique hostel with a restaurant, a full bar, and two roof-top terraces. We have private rooms with deluxe bathrooms and floor heating as well as dorm rooms.

Lost Garden Guesthouse is a boutique hostel with a restaurant, a full bar, and two roof-top terraces. Our private rooms feature deluxe bathrooms and all rooms, including common areas, have sub-floor heating to keep you warm in the winter. We are located in a quiet neighborhood just a few steps away from Green Lake Park in central Kunming.

Come visit us and enjoy our unique, comfortable, and quiet little place. We offer a variety of services for travelers including laundry service, airport/train station pickup, and travel ticket purchase. We also feature weekend restaurant specials as well as frequent guest chef residencies.

We have four types of private bedroom available:

We have two types of dorms:

six beds with bathroom

Linen and bed sheets are provided. We have 24h hot water, free wifi in all the bedrooms, floor heating. The dorms also have lockers for your valuables.

From the west bus station:

Take a taxi (around 60 RMB) directly to our guesthouse. Show the address (in characters) to the taxi driver and (s)he will take you there.

Alternatively, you can take bus 154 to the train station (last stop) and see below for instructions from the train station.

From the airport:

Take a taxi (less than 30 RMB) directly to our guesthouse. Show the address (in characters) to the taxi driver and (s)he will take you there.

From the train station:

Take bus 2 to Wu Yi Road and walk down Wu Yi Lu towards the north, cross Hua Shan South Road and continue onto Huang Gong Dong Street. Walk down this street and take the last alley on your right. You will see a kindergarten. Keep left at the fork and you will see the sign for our guesthouse.
