Only 7 km far from Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport, the hostel is located in the living area called Monterosso, in Bergamo, just a few bus stops far from the city centre and "Città Alta", the Upper City (the historical area).
We are conventioned with a transfert Airport -hostel and Hostel - Airport. The price is 15,00 for a car (1-4 persons max) . To book this service you have to contact us to comunicate the flight and time of arrival.
Thanks to this favourable position, guests can relax and enjoy the green atmosphere of the hills surrounding the area and easily reach the extraordinary artistic treasures of both the center and the Upper City: several museums, the Donizetti Theatre, the art gallery Accademia Carrara and the shopping center are just a few bus stops far.
84 beds, several common areas (leaving room with video and dvd player, wide terrace, big solarium on the roof facing Città Alta and a rich garden surrounding the bilding), panoramic lift, lack of architectural barriers, internet corners and wireless connection, laundry, cheap phone, books exchange and a pleasant and serene atmosphere are just a few of the characteristics that make Bergamo YH such a pleasant place to stay for all our guests.

A very pleasant modern Hostel. Some way out of Bergamo. If you are coming by bus from the airport I suggest you get the 1C bus all the way to the old town and then get the number 3 from Old Town which takes you all the way to the Hostel terminus. It just seems easier than looking out for the bus stop on the number 6 route in the dark in our case although it is further. We actually walked from the 1 bus stop in town (Porto Nuovo). It took about 40 mins but you will need a good map or a TomTom to find hostel.
The rooms are very clean and my wife and I were given a family room with a bathroom shared with the next family room, not ideal but better than a bathroom shared with the whole floor.
Breakfast usual jam and bun, not very exiting. No cooking facilities but there was a microwave.
I marked the value down but that it because the £/euro is poor at the moment.
