The Youth Hostel San Frediano is located in the very heart of the old town. It\'s a beautiful building, recently restored and can host up to 140 people in comfortable rooms disposed on 3 floors. It also has a restaurant where breakfast and dinner are served, as well as garden with an amazing view to the ancient city walls.

During your stay, you can relax in one of our 4 large common rooms, watching tv or reading a book and enjoy the athmosphere of a peaceful place. Otherwise you can visit the town and its major interesting landmarks, which are just a short walk away.

Lucca is a perfect base for touring all around Tuscany, being at a short distance from Florence, Pisa, Viareggio and the coast, Siena and San Gimignano.

Please note, if you are not a Member of Hostelling International there is an extra charge of �3 per person per night. Once you have stayed 6 nights at a HI Hostel you become a HI member, and no extra charges apply for future stays.
