Conditions:
**Any bookings in dorms with 4 or more guests need to email in advance to be kept in the same dorms
**Persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult/guardian and are not permitted to share dorm rooms with other guests. A private room or the entire dorm must be booked.
**We advise you to contact the hostel if you are going to arrive after 11PM
**No smoking in any of our rooms or in the restaurant. Under Belgian law smoking tobacco is only permitted in the bar until July 1 st 2011.
**Groups over 10 guests may be required to leave a credit card or cash deposit at check in.
**We have a 24 hour cancellation policy � Any cancellations within a 24 hour arrival including same day cancellations will still be charged for the first night.
**Failure to arrive for a reservation without informing the hostel will result in the first night being charged.
**Dorms and private rooms contain basin only � shared showers and toilets are located through out the building
**Premium duluxe rooms contain full private bathroom facilities

people was horrible , the place was in a very poor state, the food was raw or over cooked, is there any need to mention the bathroom, it was a health hazard ! would not recomend this place to any 1 who is breathing !

We slept 2 nigths in this hostel in private room, the pub downstair it's a realy good idea and we enjoied the happy hour !
But the stair have only 1 toilets for 15 rooms. The wall was very small and we heard a man walking in the corridor ( normal walk ) we were awakened by the sound of footsteps , the room was too small <9m² ( we tested an hostel in NY and for the same price in the center the room was two times bigger ).
the bed was too smal for a person >1,90meter like me :-).
The staff was helpfull, the location was good ( 5min from the HYPER center ).But this hostel was good

Hello, the best thing is the ubication, close to the historical centre. The room is really basic without bathroom and single beds (we are a couple), the shower didn`t have hot water since 7.30 AM, so we showered with cold water; good breakfast, bar down stairs and discount card for main of the attractions:

Rooms were clean but ours smelt of smoke when we first arrived and the noise from the bar downstair travelled into our room. Only one toilet for the floor. The internet was in a seperate building and was closed when we were wanting to use it. Overall ok especially for the price we paid.

I liked the Bauhaus. The rooms are quite well and has good control and security for guests. The only inconvenience I found at the Bauhaus, is that the bar smells so bad, but this is due to a temporary problem with the pipes that I imagine will be fixed soon. The bar features a lively atmosphere at night is fine for a drink and the waiters and barmen are very familiar, make you feel right at home. It is conveniently located, just 10 minutes walk from the center and, with supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, ATMs and shops of all kinds a few minutes, all very close in the same street.
This hostel is really great, I recommend it.

I stayed only for a day so my perception of the place could be a bit misleading. Anyway I found the place quite nice and lively. Only problem was that there were only 4 showers and a single toilet for the entire floor.

St. Christopher's Bauhaus was a great place to stay in Bruges. It is located inside the outer circle of the canals and from the hostel it is easy to walk to the center of town. The hostel was clean and the room I stayed in was large and comfortable. It was very quiet at night. I was really impressed with the bar and restaurant attached to the hostel. Good food, good beer and you get a couple of great coupons to use when you check-in. Free wi-fi throughout the hostel was convenient. My only complaint was that there is only one toilet and shower per floor, which never seemed like enough. Overall, a great place to stay and I would definitely stay there again.
