Over Lamu-Island Villa
Lamu-island Villa is a privately-owned three-bedroomed house in the paradise island of Lamu, on the Indian Ocean, off the coast of Kenya. Enjoy beautiful beaches and centuries-old Swahili culture!
The house is located between Lamu Town and Shela village, with a 1/4 acre secluded garden and just 200 m from the sea, in an extremely quiet area. Enjoy our three bedrooms, two terraces, living room, equipped kitchen and bathroom. The house can comfortably sleep six people.
Ben, the manager, will wait for you at the airport / bus-stop, and assist you in all your needs and desires (even the most incongruous) during your stay, while young George, the night watchman, will entertain you with local stories during your sun-downer or if sleep escapes you. Boat trip (sailing or motor boat), treks, city-tours, on-site Swahili cook, can be arranged on request. Gay/Lesbian-friendly. We look forward to seeing you here!

The Lamu-Island Villa is a nice and quiet place to stay. It lays in between Lamu and Shela. The housekeeper Ben is great for help and company, but Margaret steels the show. Nothing is to much for her.
The white beaches are only a 20 minutes walk to Shela and Lamu, really nice place to eat, drink and shop, is only 10 minutes walking.
The house is great and when we where there we had the house for ourselfs. The quiet pace let you come to yourself and is relaxing. And if you want a trip on a dhow just ask Margaret. Nice is also that there coming monkeys to the garden and play around.
I advice this villa to everyone for a great stay at beautyfull Lamu.
