Wildebeest Camp is an oasis in Nairobi � the perfect place to relax during your African migration!The beautifully-appointed rooms and deluxe safari tents will be a welcome place to stay before and after your safari. Only 2km from the city centre, this is Nairobi\'s first permanent tented camp, where you can enjoy peaceful tropical gardens, which are home to hundreds of varieties of plants and birds, while still being close to shops, markets, cinemas, banks and transport links.

There is a range of accommodation to suite all budgets. You can camp in the garden for only $7 per night or stay in one of the luxury ensuited safari tents for $30 per person per night - including cooked breakfast.

* The price that you book on this site if for a camping pitch. If you need to use our tent and bedding this costs an additional 200/- per person. Just book the regular pitch and we will email you to ask if you will use your tent or ours.

- full electrics include lights and UK power socket
- ensuite with hot shower, basin and flush toilet
- outdoor deck with two chairs and table
We recommend guests coming from the airport use our pickup service. Once you have made your reservation, we will contact you with a confirmation and ask for your flight details or if you need a taxi from another destination.
If you are arriving in the middle of the night or very early in the morning, we recommend you also book the room for the night before as check-in is normally at 14:00.

Wildebeest is a wonderful relaxing place to stay. I was so impressed by the place and service. Very friendly and helpful staff, fantastic meals, and a great place to meet other travelers. I would recommend this place. It was the best place I stayed at in Nairobi and I was sad to leave.

After poor quality of World Cup accommodation in South Africa, this place is breath of fresh air! Friendly, comfortable, leafy hangout for assorted travellers and volunteers. Can't wait to return

Super location. I stayed in Delux Safari Tent. I spent 46 days traveling in Africa no less than 11 hotels. hostels, guest houses, and camps ant Wildebeest was the best of them all. Would for sure stay again on my next trip to East Africa

On my past visits to Nairobi my colleagues insisted on staying in one of the 'Big Name' hotels which I found to be soul-less with good service but not exactly what you might call homely.... And then I found the Wildebeest Camp.
I could gush on all day about the wonderful tents; the fantastic people I've met there and had really invigorating conversations with; the wonderfully helpful and discreet staff; the beauty of the place; the proximity to the city centre; the overall relaxed atmosphere and of course barney - the dog who looks like Scooby Doo. It was like home away from home. NO! Scratch that, my home is not even close to how cool the Wildebeest camp is.
Don't miss it. Really!
