Hotel Papillon is located in the most beautiful, peaceful and calm area, on the Rózsadomb, only a few minutes from the heart of the city and just a 10 minutes walk from the Buda Castle.

Our hotel has a family atmosphere, 30 rooms and an apartment, and can accommodate 70 persons. We have 23 double-rooms, 3 single-rooms and 4 triple rooms. An extra bed can be put in some of the rooms on request.

You can enjoy the spectacular panoramic view from our roof-top terrace. For the most pleasurable stay we offer you our comfortable panorama apartment with a balcony.

In our garden, the grill, pool and a beer-garden makes the time spent here more pleasant.

Polite and helpful staff creates a pleasant, friendly atmosphere.

The most beautiful and well-known places of the city / for example: Parliament, Buda Castle, Margaret Island, thermal baths, etc. are easily and quickly accessible from our hotel, even on foot.

The apartments are situated on the 1st floor and are composed of: a spacious living-room with kitchenette (with microwave and refrigerator) and a single and a double bed, a bed-room with twin-beds , satellite TV, a bath-room with shower/WC and hairdryer. The apartment size is -about 36m2. One parking place is also available for each apartment.

By car

Motorway M1, exit city center. Direction Margit hid ( Margit bridge). Just before the bridge there is an OMW petrol station. At the next traffic light turn to the left. First street left, second right, our hotel is in 50 meters on the right .

By flight:

Budapest, International Airport, Ferihegy Terminals 1 and 2.

Public transport:

By bus 200 to Kobánya-Kispest, then by metro line 3 ( blue line) to Nyugati tér , from there by tram number 4 or number 6 for 4 stops to Mechwart liget. Walk up Keleti Károly street. First street right is Buday László street and then first left is our street ( Rózsahegy utca ). After ca. 50meters you will see our hotel on the right-hand side,50 meter.

By Minibus:

By train:

From the central station Keleti pu. by underground 2 (M2) to Moszkva ter. Take the tram 4 or 6 for 2 stops to Keleti street. Walk up the hill, first right: Buday street, first left: Rózsahegy street. The hotel is on the right-hand side after 50 meters.
