Located in the Bastakiya Heritage area, The Orient Guest House offers guests a window to the past. It is a traditional two storey villa restored to it's former glory and offers ten Arabian style decorated rooms and a majlis (lounge) offering travelers the true taste of times gone by as they relax in the serene surroundings

In the heart of lively Bur Dubai surroundings, the guest house is a walking distance to the Dubai Museum , Meena Bazaar, Dubai Creek, Abra (water taxi), Bank Street and Computer Street . It is a short drive of 6 K.M from Dubai International airport and only 3 K.M from the Sheikh Zayed Road business district, World Trade Center and exhibition halls. The diplomatic area is only half a kilometer away.

In close proximity to the shopping venues, guests can strike up a bargain at the Meena Bazaar (Souk Al Kabeer) or enjoy the high street shopping at nearby malls.

With views of the streets from a bygone era, guests are able to relive the past as it was almost a century ago. The roof terrace and two courtyards provide tranquil spots in which to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

The guest house offers 24 hour butler service and an English/Arabic breakfast is made to order every morning, which is served in the elegant courtyard in the winter months and in-room during the summer.

Lights snacks and soft beverages are available all day at the Courtyard café. Complimentary in-room mineral water is provided daily as well as daily housekeeping services are offered. The guest house does not serve any alcohol in keeping with the local traditions. However, guests can consume alcohol inside the privacy of their rooms.

The name of the nearest airport is Dubai international and we are approximately 6 kilometers away and by taxi it will 50AED. Metro from the airport will cost 10AED and you will need to come off at Khalid Bin Walid.
