gastonciganda Very friendly and kind staff, we leave our lugagge there 3 nights before checking in as we had a trip to the Titi Caca...no problem at all!! Hotel facilities and great buffet breakfast for hostel rates! They even serve scrambled eggs. Good location near Plaza de Armas at downtown.

harunie All the staff were very helpful. They tried to help us but we didn't have hot shower in the morning. As it was very cold the warm shower didn't very help unfortunately... You can choose the breakfast between American or Continantal but you only get scrumble egg as an extra for American one nothing anymore.

gastonciganda Great location near the port, easy when you are departing for the Titi Caca. Neighbourhood is not a great thing and it's several blocks from downtown

jonathanda Good hostel, hot showers, close to the centre and the harbour. However do not arrange bus transport here, they charged me more than double for a bus ticket to Arequipa and we almost missed the bus because the person that went to get the tickets forgot them at home.
joriedi2 I want to first start this review out by saying I am a bit biased when it comes to anything in Puno--I really didn't like the city. However, Camino Real was a lovely place to stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, our rooms were cleaned daily, and hot water was always available. There were TVs in the rooms (which normally makes no difference to me, but I got pretty sick one day and was confined to my room. Suddenly that TV was the best thing ever!). The breakfast that was included in the room price was very good, and tea was available during the day. The hotel itself is very centrally located to the main tourist center and plenty of shops, restaurants, and tourist offices are nearby. All of the tours we took picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel. I don't think I'll be back in Puno ever again, but if I were, I would stay at Camino Real.
