grammaguy Our three day stay at House of Rose was very pleasant. The ladies who work there were delightful and quick to serve our requests. THe outdoor dining are is a great place to hang out and have a tasty adult beverage. Lastly owner Andy provided staff to guide us in at our request. Overall a bit bare bones but a great economy hostelry. We recommend it.

andrew4107 some tricycles don't want to get you there because of the rough road of old buncag road. instead pay a fare for 2 persons. the location is near in the city proper but because of limited tricycles passing through old buncag, you will walk only a few meters from the hostel up to to malvar street for you to get a tricycle. the hostel is one of the cheapest in puerto princesa. the family running it is very hospitable and helpful. i recommend this place.
