mytychp Helpful staff. Bathrooms and kitchen cleaned everyday. Fresh jam, milk, rolls. Unlimited access to the internet. Room faced noisy street (bit of traffic).
s_uze We had a very nice stay in this hostel, the staff was super friendly and we had a great time with the pubcrawl and wild walkers tour. The only thing that wasn't that great is the lightening, in the evenings there wasn't enough light in the bathrooms, but this is only a little detail, overall this was a very great hostel!
penny-lane If you are reading my review, believe me, you dont need to keep searching and reading thousands of reviews anymore: you wont find better hostel in Porto than Dixo's. The location is the best. The facilities are all brand new and clean. Rooms are big with confortable beds. Bathrooms always clean and in good number. They also have a nice kitchen and a really nice common area. Plus, the hostel has a really nice style, and the owners are very friendly. You will meet great people and fall in love not only for the city but also for the people from there. I had an amazing time and it is far away the best hostel that I have been in Europe. Can't wait to go back!

hannah.haddad I wish we stayed here for longer! the hostal is a gorgeous old portuguese house with a huge grand stair well down the middle. the rooms are airy, and the kitchen, living room and garden space downstairs are lovely too. Excellent location, but we could have done with better advise on directions and what to see.
