We are located on Praia do Santinho (Santinho Beach), in the North of the island. It’s the ideal destination to relax on your way to Iguazu Falls, Montevideo or Buenos Aires, enjoying the finest beaches around.

Begin your morning with a delicious home-made breakfast: granola, fresh coffee, milk (and other dairy products such as yogurt and cheese), juice, variety of teas, fruit, scrambled eggs, jam, cream cheese, home-baked bread, cake and the popular pão de queijo (delicious little cheese puffs) that are served straight out of the oven. All are prepared with the finest ingredients and served in abundance with love.

After breakfast why not take a short walk to the beach or simply relax pool-side reading a good book?

The Pousada is a seven minute walk to the main beach. Santinho is still a well preserved beach front with a well groomed, white sand beach. The great waves make for a surfers' paradise.

How to get here by bus (best option, runs from Monday to Sat): Leave the bus station and cross the pedestrian walkway towards the other side of the road. There is the store Casas da Agua on your left hand side, the bus stops are right in front of that store. Take the bus # 1121 Ingleses (yellow bus) that will take you to Praia do Santinho. It is a 40/45 min trip. Ask the driver to drop you off at Praia do Santinho in front of Supermercado Silva, our street (Servidão do Ipê) is across the road opposite to the supermarket. The bus # 1121 runs from Mon-Sat (on Saturday the last bus is approx. at 01:50PM).

How to get here by bus ON SUNDAYS: from the bus station turn right and walk about 200m to Ticen (Terminal Integração Centro). From Plataforma C take bus # 210 Direto or # 221 Semi-Direto to Tican (Terminal Integração Canasvieiras). Once you get to Tican there is a connection (bus # 264 Ingleses) that will take you to Praia do Santinho. Get off at the last stop and walk back 50m from the bus stop. There is a sign for Pousada do Atoba on the left hand side, opposite to Supermercado Silva.
