We are a small family hotel with 5 apartments for 4 - 5 people each, complete with kitchen, living, dining, double bed room, back and front verandas with hammock.
Apart from that we offer 3 suites, 1 with cooking facilities for 2 or 3 people, all in quiet garden surroundings with parking space, swimming pool and community barbecue place.
Our location also affords easy access to famous Praia Mole for experienced and professional surfers and Joaquina beache with dunes for sand surfing.
We are experienced travellers who speak, German, English, Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese.
Florianopolis itself is a reasonably modern state capital with 400.000 inhabitants, no more than 30km from any point on the island, with shopping malls and eateries to enjoy, and clubs and nightlife aplenty.
For those who like to go trekking, there are nice trails in the wild, where you can also go by horse. It's a good combination of beaches, wildlife and city. There are also boat trips, where you can see dolphins and whales

We loved staying here. If you have your own transport it is located close to many great beaches. If you do not, it is walking distance to Praia Barra de Lagoa (about 20 minutes walk) and Praia Mole (about 30 minutes walk). It is also walking distance to restaurants and shops. There is a supermarket and bread shop very close by. The swimming pool is small but lovely. The owner, Ida, is extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. On our arrival, all of the apartments were full, so Ida accomodated us in a house nearby and we were able to use all of her facilities. We found the overall experience great for our family (2 boys, aged 9 and 7) and would recommend it to others.

Collected by owner, taken to a different property because TRAVELLERS POINT had not informed her in time and the room had been rented to a returning guest. The owner is AMAZING, gave lifts around the island and had all the time in the world for you to help solve your problems. She is a star!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great place, Ida is lovely and a wonderful host. Perfect if you want a quiet place to be as a couple or with family. One minor drawback is that it is some way from the beach, but more than compensated for by the wonderful hosts!
