Recover on the mile long sandy strand and relax in the nearly all-year warm sea at 'one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil' (magazine GEO, Spain) in Praia de Jau'. The beach of Jaua is situated north of Salvador da Bahia at the 'Estrada do Coco' surrounded by snow like white dunes. It is very popular. At some parts reefs form natural pools when the tide is out allowing to swim even by high waves outside. Your children (and non-swimmers) will adore it. The southern and northern beaches are almost deserted and invite you to an extensive walking.

On the beach visitors can sample a host of Bahian food and drinks in any of the more than 40 beach pavilions.

The hotel consists of twelve spacious (app. 40 m') circular bungalows (suites). It has a swimming pool with a separate pool for small children, sun terrace (with bedchairs and sunshades), bar with reading-room, playground and a restaurant with Bahian and international cuisine and vegetarian dishes.

Each bungalow (suite) contains a bedroom with double bed (king size), fan and TV, a living room with two couchbeds, radio and refrigerator, a bathroom with WC and shower and a veranda complete with a hammock and seats, offering enough room for up to three adults. Four bungalows are specially adapted for people with wheel chairs.

The hotel is gay and lesbian (lgbt) friendly.

Distances from the hotel: Beach 350 m; airport of Salvador 17 km (app. 20 min by car); historic town centre of Salvador 40 km (app. 45 min by car). There is a regular bus service between Jau' beach and the city centre (not at night).

We offer excursions, city sightseeing tours, airport and city transfers (even at night). Contact hotel for airport transportation, cheaper than local taxis.

Cancel in total or partly 72 h prior to arrival to avoid charge of all nights.
