The Tambo Hotel is run by the Sociedad de Beneficencia Publica del Cuzco (Cuzco's Public Charity Society), a non-profit organisation. The aim of this organisation is to raise funds to support different social assistance centres such as: Hogar de menores (Foster home), the Centro Gerontologico (Gerontology Centre) and the Centro de Salud Mental (Mental health centre).
