We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean and exactly what we expected from the pictures on this site. The room was a good size, though a little dark and musty, and had a nice feeling with shutters to allow you to open the windows with a breeze and keep the mosquitoes out. The beds could be me more comfortable though. They do clean the rooms every day, which was nice.
The breakfast was very nice with fresh fruit, ham and cheese, fresh juice, coffee and bread. The staff was nice and somewhat helpful (some more than others). Only some of the staff speaks English, not all. They have wifi, but with the amount of visitors at the hostel, expect it to be slow.
The location is ideal and good for the price. It was an easy 10 minute walk into downtown Buzios where you will likely eat all your meals. Since we were on a budget we also decided to not rent a car, so we walked to all the beaches. It was quite easy and we were at nearly any beach in less than 30 minutes (even the further away beaches).
This is a great place to stay at! the staff is the nicest and very helpful. The hostel has a swimming pool in a garden full of fruit trees, its incredible. The rooms were very clean and comfy. This is the best place to enjoy a travel to paradise.
