patts i centrally located near shopping, restaurants and transit. it is family run and staff are generally friendly. the internet costs 2 reais for 15 minutes a bit off for brasil where internet generally runs 2 reais an hour. the rooms are a bit dingy, my room had one tiny window with a view of other rooftops. the bathroom is small as is the shower and the paint is peeling off the walls. it is not really a pousada, where people mingle in the common area, it is a hotel where people keep to themselves. the cafe da amanha is served in a small windowless room and was adequate and average, juices made from frozen pulp and not fresh fruits, several different sandwich meats and cheeses, fresh papaya, coffee and warm milk, several types of breads including whole meal. no swimming pool, in summer a big minus--down the street for 70 reais you can find a single room with pool and trees and flowery garden and much better cafe da amanha (name withheld) and access to kitchen.

Do not check this hotel on internet it is a fake and when you will get there they will not take your reservation in account.

Despite that it is a really simple hotel a little bit old but confortable with a good "cafe da manha".
