Hotel Balcon del Mar consists of a 47 room hotel over 5 different floors and caters for different customers and budgets.

Among the features of the hotel there is a restaurant with delicious fusion food based on Peruvian cuisine. We also have a hall for events including conferences, weddings or meetings.

At Hotel Balcón del Mar we always think about our customers’ needs one of which is the surfing. That’s why we are introducing a new surfer’s rate.

We have 22 standard, 12 standard superior and 6 standard major rooms with a panoramic view on the 4th floor. We also have 1 apartment with a kitchen plus 2 with a kitchenette. There are also 6 gorgeous suites on three floors in front of the beach.

To get here by rental car just follow the number 1 highway till Manolo’s Cross Road, about 10 minutes from San Jose Airport, and then follow the signs that say Jaco Beach.

By bus you can use Transportes Jaco, The Bus leaves at 7:00am, 09:00am, 11:00am and 1pm, 3pm, 5pm and 7pm from Coca Cola Terminal and costs ¢1.970 (approximately $3.40)

By Shared Van, you will be picked up at your hotel’s door by a 10 passenger van.

The ride takes about 2 hours and is only $39 per person.
