Every price disclosed in Hostelworld website are promotional and are applied if you pay by cash. Payments must be done at check-in moment.
Every taxes are included in the price. No surprise at all!
We do accept credit cards (VISA and MASTER). If you prefer to pay by card we will charge you 5% card fee.

Settled in Jardins, the best neighbourhood of São Paulo, close to Oscar Freire Street, a few blocks from Paulista Avenue and the metro station, this brand new Okupe unit was created for those who want to enjoy the city nightlife in Jardins, Pinheiros or Vila Madalena, or even easily reach the main sights of the city. You will find a spacious social area with kitchen, computers with free internet access and wifi, TV room, and an amazing bar with a pool table. All that you need to have fun while getting to know new people and a great basis to enjoy this huge city!
Parking: It is for free but we don\'t have space to everyone so check availability with our reception desk.

We stayed for a couple of days at okupe hostel, the staff was awesome, always sharp for our needs. The facilities are nice, good kitchen and social areas, the bar is cool and the breakfast is nice... the showers are amazing, by far the best... there are some dorms with an inner bathroom with shower wich is great... i would advice them to change the matrices because they are the hardest ive ever slept in... location is fine, is a safe place but a little bit far from the subway, prices are ok.
Had a great time overall and i would go again... specially if they change the matrices.

Some staff friendly, others not so. Big group of loud boys staying at hostel while we did clouded our time there a bit. Funny smell in bunk rooms. But good breakfast and kitchen facilities.
I stayed at Okupe Hostel Jardins the first week of January, 2011. I originally booked with Saci Hostel but they transferred our reservation to Okupe.
It's a little bit of a walk from the Clínicas Metro station but once you're here, you're steps away from the "5th Avenue" of São Paulo, Rua Oscar Freire, and a quick walk from Rua Augusta, which is lined with independent clothing stores between Rua Oscar Freire and Avenida Paulista.
The place itself is clean and well-maintained, and the area feels very safe and secure. The free breakfast in the morning is nice but it's pretty basic. I recommend walking to Galeria dos Pães not too far away.
The youthful staff is very friendly and accommodating. I totally enjoyed my stay here.
