Pedro and Joana welcome you to Dixo\'s Oporto Hostel, your home away from home!

Here you will find a cosy atmosphere with a professional and multilingual team, available 24 hours per day to help and respond to all your needs.

Dixo\'s Oporto Hostel is the result of the renovation of a XIX Century Portuguese House. If you take the opportunity to stay with us you will be able to enjoy this beautiful, confortable building, classified by UNESCO as World Heritage.

Thanks to Dixo\'s central location you can easily access to different types of transports - underground, bus, tram, trains, taxis, city sightseeing tours, etc. - that will take you everywhere in Porto and easily connect you to other fascinating cities in Portugal.

Just outside our door step you can visit some of the city�s attractions: the S�o Francisco Church, the Stock Market Palace, the Hard Club for entertainment and the Art Palace. You are also at a five minute walk from Ribeira - the downtown by the river bank - where you can experience a boat trip up the Douro River on the old and famous Rabelo\'s Boats, visit the D. Luis I Bridge designed by Gustav Eiffel and explore the famous Porto Wine Cellars.

Also in the vicinity of Dixo\'s Hostel you will discover other landmarks and interesting places such as the Lello bookshop, Aliados Avenue, the Town Cathedral, the Magestic Cafe, the Bolho Market, the Clerigos Tower, Virtudes Garden and the Crystal Palace.

Different restaurant, club and bar areas are also at a walking distance from Dixo\'s, so it will be easy for you to have fun during the day and in the evening, and get to know Portos busy night life.

Dixos hostel will present you with a variety of Portuguese gastronomy served in our dinning room so that you can taste and appreciate some of Portugal\'s best and typical food.

We also organize pub- crawls and thematic nights so if you are either travelling alone or with friends, Dixo\'s may be an unforgettable place to stay in Porto city and a wonderful choice for you.

At Dixo\'s Oporto Hostel you may opt to stay in the big and comfortable dorms or enjoy the cosy double rooms.

You can relax in the living room or chill out and relish the sunset in our famous top roof terrace. From there, you will have the most incredible panoramic view of the city.

Dixo\'s Hostel is equipped with wi-fi connection so if you have your own i-phone or laptop you can access internet everywhere. In alternative you can use our computer, available with free internet access.

Free maps of the city and touristic information is provided anytime you need! Just ask the Dixo\'s staff!

With your reservation a full and delicious breakfast is included.

Beds are supplied with free linen and you will have your own personal locker to keep all your bellongings safe.

If you forget to bring towel we can hire you one. Ask at the reception!
