Kangaroo BakPak Katoomba is a brand new comfortable hostel in the heart of the Blue Mountains. If you're thinking of coming to Katoomba to enjoy the beautiful landscape, and maybe do a few activities then Kangaroo BakPak is the place for you. After perfecting our Sydney city hostel we just knew we could give travelers and outdoor enthusiasts a great experience amongst the trees as well. Everyone who stays with Kangaroo BakPak says the same thing 'It feels like a home', and that is exactly what we meant it to be. Our dorm beds are semi-private, allowing guests to feel more comfortable in their rooms, whilst maintaining a social atmosphere. We are also the only hostel that has free bed lockers with electrical sockets inside, so if you are charging your new iPhone you can go exploring without worrying about loosing it. Our shower facilities are not what you would expect from a hostel, ours would be suited better in a high end hotel, and we even have a bath! The kitchen has been designed to be spacious and with enough utensils for a chef, so you can easily cook your favorite dishes without worrying about the normal hostel kitchen crowd. We also have a HUGE BBQ that is free to use.Our unique hostel is only 10 minutes walk from waterfalls, cliffs and the great outdoors, and we can assure you there is a lot to do:
