Tefé, also called the "little Solimões princes" is a very peaceful place in the middle of the Amazon-forests. It's situated halfway from Manaus to the triple frontier of Brazil, Colombia and Peru, along a side-river of the Solimões river; internationally better known as the Amazon

Multicultura is managed by Fernando (Brazilian) and Bettine (Dutch), who both have worked with indigenous people in the region. The managers organize small trips in the surrounding of Tefé.

The surrounding of Tefé offers various possibilities for daytrips.

Some of them are the beautiful white-sand beaches, the historical buildings of the Mission, local communities and flooded forests to explore. The meeting of the dark waters of the Tefé-river with the white water of the river Solimões offers spectacular views.
