Whether you are in Cape Town for business or pleasure, The Tulip Hotel and Conference Centre offers comfortable, affordable accommodation in a central location.
Situated in the core of Cape Town’s CBD, the Tulip Hotel and Conference Centre in Strand Street is ideally positioned for both business and leisure travellers. Attractions such as the V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain and Robben Island are easily accessible. Also nearby is the Cape Town Stadium, which was built especially for the 2010 FIFA World Cup and where many important sports matches are still being hosted. The hotel is also located near the Fan Walk, which takes spectators straight to the stadium over a 20 minute walk.
At The Tulip Hotel & Conference Centre, we believe in providing our guests with good, clean accommodation and personal service at excellent rates. The hotel is ideal for school groups, church groups, budget travellers and corporate clients looking for a place to stay that offers all the necessities, while avoiding all the unnecessary costs of “frills.”
The rooms are clean and serviced daily and the beds are comfortable. All 86 rooms have en-suite bathrooms, most of which have both a bath and a shower. Those rooms that are situated on higher floors provide residents with excellent views of Table Mountain and other parts of the city: a five-star view for a budget price.
A computer with Internet access is situated in the reception area. Guests who would like to use it may do so for a small fee. For those guests with their own laptop computers, wireless Internet on the ground floor is also available for a small charge.
The Tulip’s restaurant, located on the second floor of the hotel, serves a hearty buffet meal twice a day. An á la carte menu is also provided for those requiring a snack between meals.
