Our custom-designed hostel features thick, comfy mattresses, instant and long-lasting 24hr hot water, bright rooms with windows, free Wi-Fi and computers where you can upload your memory cards.
We have a fully-equipped kitchen at your disposal. Even better than that is our sunny patio with Jacuzzi and BBQ to rest and chill out from this crazy city. Our TV gets most sports events, from English premier league to NFL, plus a load of new movies.
But what will make the difference is our staff - a mixture of residents and travellers with different backgrounds that are happy to help you sort out whatever you need. Between us we've got a maniacal attention to music, improvised Spanish- and Italian-style dinners, BBQs and crazy and innovative outdoor activities so you can discover our city from a new point of view.
For us it's not a matter of travel, it's a matter of experience.

There is only one not-so-perfect points about this hostel: you could get a cold suprise in the shower if someone turned on the water somewhere else. Except for this point, the hostel is one of the best I have ever stayed at! The staff helpes out any way possible (or not so possible), the food they provide every evening for free (!) is very good and conversation just flows without being overly familiar. Breakfast for €2,5 isn't fancy, but provides the basic stuff people need in the morning.
Other than that, it is situated in one of the nicest quaters I have yet to find in Barcelona, when you go to the north there are a lot of small bars and restaurants. Maybe I wont walk there alone after dark, but in a group, or on sunny sundays its lively and cozy at the same time! But maybe not so good for families.
I would stay here again definitly!

lovely staff..very friendly and extremely helpful. make you feel so welcome! great location, easy access to everything. clean hostel with comfortable bunk beds! definitley recommended.

Had a fantastic time at Hostel One Paralelo, we stayed for two days and it was brilliant craic! recieved a very warm welcome, the people were great, the place was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful...even made dinner for us!! the staff also organise nights out for the guests and if ur lucky you might get free into clubs, queue jumping, etc etc!!! would definatley stay here again if ever back in barcelona! only thing i would say is dont bring a car, there are no parking spaces hardly anywhere near the hostel!!
