Welcome to Maceda Surf Hostel the most recently opened Hostel in Maceda Village only 20 minutes from Porto.

Located in the heart of Maceda Natural Park, the Hostel offers you a unique experience to enjoy nature in a whole field and wild beach with lots of surf spots to explore!

Maceda surf hostel is a warm and friendly hostel that welcomes travellers from all over the world. Guests can relax in our chill out room, complete with comfy sofas and a library, or catch up with friends and family in the internet, Wi.fi access is available throughout the property.

The Hostel is a ground floor house, it has a gorgeous garden with lots of fruit trees where you can relax, have a cold shower in a hot day or simply read a good book under the fig tree.

We are 20 minutes from Porto! We have highway and national road and to get to or location from Porto is very quick.

The Porto surfers come here for surf, it has the best waves around Porto, it has forest,wildness beaches and people get out from the busy of the city. Our surfschool has it basis on Porto, it is the oldest school in the city - since 1994 - and we also do surftours and beach sightseeing along the coast from Porto to Maceda.

To those who prefer sports Maceda Surf Hostel has surf and kite surf lessons available.

We have a kitchen fully equipped, with lunch/dinner available, where guests can make themselves a hearty meal or a quick snack.

Trips and tours can also be booked ask in your arrival!

Maceda Surf Hostel has 2 types of dorms:

3 beds: single beds

5 beds: 3 single beds and 1 bunk bed

Bed sheets and linen are provided, reading lights and bathrooms with 24hr hot showers.

Maceda Village is located between Porto (at north-30kms) and Aveiro(at South-40kms).

Flying to Porto: Ryanair, Easyjet, Spanair, Lufthansa, Air China, Continental Airlines, and Alitalia

From the airport: it has a metro station from where you can take the line to Campanh à train station(Porto)and there take a train to Carvalheira Maceda train station, the ride takes about 40 minutes.
