Hotel Santo Tomas is a Victorian mansion located approximately three blocks from the Jade Museum and eight miles from San Jose Airport. This location is also within walking distance of the Gold Museum, one mile from the National Museum and Central Market, and three miles from the US Embassy.

Hotel amenities include the fitness center, complimentary tropical breakfast, bar service, Restaurant El Oasis, and solar-heated pool with Jacuzzi, waterfall, and waterslide. Safety deposit boxes, a concierge, currency exchange, and laundry service are available for our guests.

All rooms feature cable TVs, high-speed Internet access at no charge, ceiling fans, and telephones. Air-conditioning is not available.

FROM THE AIRPORT TAKE THE PANAMERICAN HIGHWAY INTO SAN JOSE. AT LA SABANA PARK, TURN LEFT(EAST) VIA EL PASEO COLON GO ALL THE WAY TO CENTRAL AVENUE BOULEVAR (ROAD NARROWS), TURN RIGHT FOR ONE SHORT BLOCK AND TURN LEFT, GO ANOTHER BLOCK, MAKE LEFT AND GO 5 BLOCKS TO 7TH AVE. TURN RIGHT GO 6 BLOCKS,HOTEL IS ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE.

TAXIS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE AIRPORT FROM THE OFFICIAL COMPANY CALLED TAXIS UNIDOS. HOWEVER, be aware that some taxi drivers will try to direct you to another hotel in an effort to get a commission paid. Under no circumstance let them convince you of such a thing. Also, DO NOT exchange money at the Airport Bank. You will get ripped off on the exchange rate. Wait until you can visit a bank outside the airport.
