Our little apartment has balconies to the street of San Lázaro, the longest of Havana; from there you can see not only the dawn and the sunset over the city, but also the everyday life or our people. Our hostel has two bedrooms, one of them with a double bed and the other with twin personal beds, both with air conditioned and the comfort of modern life. The attractive bathroom has hot and cold water 24 hours, and you can enjoy a multiple use room, which combines the facilities of Kitchen, dining room and sitting room, with TV, fridge and music equipment. If you a gym fan, you can use the little gymnasium located in Irela’s house.

The place is ideal for visitors (families, friends) of more than two persons; but if you need only one room, we close the other and you enjoy the rest. Down the street, very near, there is a Metropolitan bank where you can change your foreign currency; we have also the CADECAs, (Casas de Cambio) spread all over the city and the country.

Please try our breakfast, so good that our guests usually don’t want to lunch after it. The price is only 4 CUC per person! For supper, just tell us what do you wish, and you will taste Irela’s exquisite plates, with prices below the ones of Cuban restaurants for tourists. You can go to one of the many restaurants in the surroundings, and compare quality, quantity and price: you will return to us!. Of course, if you want to cook your own meals, can buy at the nearby stores and supermarkets your provisions, and cook them at home.

We offer additionally laundry and ironing service, not included in the room price. Cleaning service, shower gel, toilet paper, soap (toiletries) and linen (towels and bed clothing), are included in the price. We speak English.

Bedrooms are ample and ventilated, but they are also air conditioned; it’s your choice. One, ideal for couples, has a double bed; the other, designed for friends or relatives, has two wide personal beds. This room has an access to a little back yard, with a lavatory. We provide, included in the price, the bed’s clothes and cleaning service. And, of course, with 110/220 v. and adapters for European type round pin plugs. You will find cozy are beautiful bathroom, with hot and cold water every 24 hours; like at home! Toiletries are included in the price.

In the peculiar multiple room, sort of combination of sitting room, dining room and kitchen, you will spend calm and happy hours. Yes! For sure! Seeing TV, hearing music, reading, or, if you wish, cooking your own meals. In the shops and markets which are very near, you can buy everything you need. If you prefer home made meals, it will a pleasure for Irela to cook for you the most delicate and typical Cuban dishes, served as in family. And don’t forget our breakfast, tasty and not expensive, with slices of Cuban fruits, coffee and milk, toasts and butter, ham & eggs, and finally, café espresso (a hint: enjoying it, you will save time and money, avoiding lunch).

Now, something you will not find in other hostels: a small gym (see the photo) for a very special guest: you. And no extra charge!.

From International Airport “José Martí”, along Rancho Boyeros Avenue, you will pass the historical Plaza de la Revolución and reach Zapata Street, run along it and in Infanta Street turn to the left; up to the crossing with San Lázaro and, two blocks to the left, there is our house, no more than half an hour, by car, from the airport. We have no special buses. The cost? Don’t pay more than 25 CUC!
